Trottinette Électrique KuKirin G4

The KuKirin G4 electric scooter takes a different approach from the dual-motor G2 models: it uses a single powerful 2000W brushless motor, a higher-voltage 60V 20Ah battery and large 11-inch off-road pneumatic tyres. Built for experienced adults riding on suitable private land, the G4 is aimed at riders who value a more substantial chassis, larger wheels and strong single-motor power delivery.

KuKirin publishes a maximum speed of 70km/h (around 44mph) and up to 75km (approximately 47 miles) of range in favourable conditions. Those are upper-end figures, not guaranteed riding results. The G4 is a high-powered private-land e-scooter, not a road-legal commuter.

Why riders choose the KuKirin G4 2000W scooter

Strong single-motor power with a 60V platform

The G4 uses one 2000W rated motor rather than two 1000W motors. It has substantial available output for acceleration and climbing on suitable private terrain, while its 60V electrical system distinguishes it from the 48V G2 and G2 Ultra. The published top speed is up to 70km/h; choose your speed to match the space, surface, weather and your experience. The manufacturer's quoted climbing capability is up to 20° under appropriate conditions.

60V 20Ah battery for longer sessions

Its lithium battery has approximately 1,200Wh of nominal energy capacity, calculated from 60V × 20Ah. KuKirin quotes a maximum range of 75km, but this assumes favourable test conditions. Heavy acceleration, prolonged high speed, hills, wind, low temperatures and rider load all affect battery consumption. A full recharge takes approximately 10–12 hours with the compatible supplied charging setup.

11-inch tyres and wide foot deck

The G4's 11-inch pneumatic off-road tyres are bigger than the 10-inch tyres on the G2, G2 Ultra and G2 Master. Their larger diameter can help the scooter roll more comfortably over minor imperfections on suitable private tracks. Combined with the front and rear shock absorbers and a deck approximately 51 × 22cm, the G4 has a spacious, planted feel. Larger wheels do not make deep ruts, loose gravel or wet ground automatically safe.

Braking, display, lighting and folding design

Front and rear disc brakes support stopping control when correctly maintained, while the digital display provides useful riding information and access to the scooter's settings. Integrated LED lighting helps with visibility. The frame folds for storage, but the G4 remains a large, heavy machine even when folded; it is better suited to ground-floor storage than frequent lifting or carrying on public transport.

KuKirin G4 vs G2 Master: which is better for you?

These models share a combined 2000W rated motor figure, but the layout is different. The KuKirin G2 Master drives both wheels with two 1000W motors and uses a 52V 20.8Ah battery. The G4 uses a single 2000W hub motor, an even larger 60V 20Ah nominal battery platform and 11-inch tyres. Pick the G2 Master if two-wheel-drive traction is your focus; consider the G4 if you prefer larger wheels and the wide-deck, high-voltage single-motor design.

For riders who do not need 70km/h performance or the G4's size, compare the G2 Ultra dual 800W or 800W G2.

Living with the G4: practical buying advice

• Range: 75km is a maximum test figure; expect a shorter distance from aggressive riding or difficult terrain.
• Charging: Plan for around 10–12 hours for a full charge using the approved charger; do not charge unattended or with a damaged battery or cable.
• Handling: Its size and 11-inch tyres suit spacious private areas better than cramped spaces; plan turning and stopping room carefully.
• Maintenance: Check tyre pressures, brake pads, disc condition, bolts, folding lock and suspension before riding.
• Wet weather: IPX4 means splash resistance, not waterproofing. Avoid standing water, immersion and jet washing.

KuKirin G4 UK questions answered

Is the KuKirin G4 dual motor?

No. The G4 has a single 2000W motor. If you want two driven wheels, look at the KuKirin G2 Master instead.

What is the G4's real-world range?

The advertised maximum is up to 75km (about 47 miles). Range in everyday private-land use can be much lower, particularly at high speed or on hills.

Is the KuKirin G4 legal on UK roads or pavements?

No. Privately owned electric scooters such as the G4 cannot legally be used on UK public roads, pavements, cycle lanes or public parks. They may be used only on private land with the landowner's permission. See the UK government's rules for electric scooters.
